Sorry dude but Blaine is not so important that he will influence everybody like that. Karofsky doesn’t like him, Santana doesn’t like him….no.

Why does Santana not like him? And i di dont think him alone will achieve all of this
but i definitely think his presence will set into motion that storyline.

Santana dislikes everybody, even those who are nice to her, but he has been mean to her on 2 occasions.

    1. “Silly Love Songs” (“Love doesn’t come in a minute/Sometimes it doesn’t come at all”). He looks straight at Santana when he sings this, and she looks offended. Even Rachel looks offended on Santana’s behalf and they share a “Wtf seriously?” look
    2. In “Night of Neglect,” when Santana sticks up for Klaine against Karofsky, she was actually nice for once by sticking up for them, and Blaine wasn’t very appreciative.

The one time she tries to be nice to people without expecting anything from them, he’s unappreciative. And people wonder why she’s so pissed off all the time.

I think you’re overestimating Blaine’s importance in the Glee universe. At the end of the day, his “Courage” campaign is a farce. When have we ever seen him display courage, other than from what he tells us about his past? He thinks his dad wanting to fix a car with him meant that his dad wanted him to be straight. Maybe his dad just wanted to spend time with him?

Kurt has had more courage than Blaine has ever had, and he never needed Blaine to step in as a mentor and act so condescending to him. Kurt never needed somebody to teach him how to be brave. He just needed a break from McKinley. Blarren fangirls act like going to Dalton and meeting Blaine is what changed Kurt. But both Dalton and Blaine discouraged Kurt’s individuality. That’s not what Kurt needed. He needed a safe place to get away from the bullying, and that could’ve been ANYWHERE.

Kurt never needed somebody like Blaine, who honestly doesn’t treat him particularly well. RIB had no idea whether or not to keep Blaine as Kurt’s mentor or promote him to boyfriend status. The mistake they made is that they promoted Blaine to some place in between that, so it looks like Blaine is trying to be Kurt’s mentor while he’s his boyfriend. As his boyfriend, Blaine never treats Kurt as an equal. He treats him like he has something to teach him. He keeps harping on about courage, looking sexy, and learning about sex when Kurt doesn’t even need that.

But since RIB and the Blarren fangirls are hopping on Blaine’s dick, they probably ARE going to make it seem like Blaine is soooooo important that he gets everybody to come out. This is the biggest load of bullshit ever because it’s out of character FOR EVERYBODY. Blaine’s PRESENCE may serve as an indirect catalyst to everybody coming out, but a direct role will do nothing but annoy the hell out of everybody.

What the hell can Blaine teach somebody like Santana? Santana doesn’t need to hear about “courage.” Brittany is already helping her with that, and it’s that support that brings them closer.

What the hell can Blaine teach Kurt? If anything, they’ll get bullied TOGETHER, but Blaine has never taught Kurt anything hat he didn’t know about being brave. At prom, Blaine supported Kurt, but KURT was the one who mustered up the courage to go back out there and face everybody.

Sorry, I don’t mean to be a bitch. Actually, I do. Blaine coming to McKinley and everybody thinking that it will have a huge impact on other characters undermines the development of characters who have been handling everything just fine without Blaine being there.

I don’t disagree with your statements of blaine not really proving kurt anything he didn’t already have. I also don’t think that Blaine himself will be directly involve in any significant character developments of other characters other than Kurt. I think Blaine’s move to McKinley is more about visibility and the impact of having two openly gay students at the school and what that means for the student body and how they are subsequently treated. I also see it having ripple effects in Santana and Karofsky’s storylines.they will probably be minimal but i think important. Wether or not Blaine directly causes these characters to come out i doubt it though if he did , id see it more with Karofsky, since as you pointed out Santana has her own thing with Brittany. I also get the feeling that Blaine and Santana wouldn’t be very fond of each other regardless so i don’t see much interaction outside of comic relief coming from those two together
